Mission Statement
We, the Glasgow Main Street Association, are a not for profit 501(c)(3) volunteer driven organization (representing the Glasgow Community) with the focus on developing and promoting a healthy and prosperous downtown within a context of cultural and historic preservation.
Vision
Downtown Glasgow…
- will be the vibrant hub of our community with everyone supporting the downtown revitalization efforts.
- will be continually working toward historic preservation with emphasis on the lighting, landscaping and façade rehabilitation on Main Street and Water Street by the river.
- will support existing businesses and recruit new businesses that will complement the existing businesses and meet community needs.
- will look to uphold an image that is inviting, beautiful, warm and ever changing with everyone working together to promote community with special events.
VOLUNTEERS
The self-governing group focuses on Main Street as the local community gathering place. With the goals of creating a vibrant hot spot, improving businesses, and a neighborhood that works together. The MSA also hosts and promotes special local events throughout the year.
MEMBERS
Members of the MSA include local small business owners, civic members, attorneys and more. All come together to preserve the rich history of the Main Street area. Are you interested in becoming a member of MSA?
